At ProductBlogs, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data of merchants who use our Shopify app to generate AI-powered product blog content.
1. What We Collect
- Merchant Info: Shop domain, access token, and public store metadata.
- Product Info: Titles, descriptions, images, and variant data used to generate blog content.
- Usage Data: How often blog posts are generated to enforce free-tier limits and improve the app.
2. How We Use It
- To generate SEO blog drafts using OpenAI's API.
- To display published blog posts within your dashboard.
- To enforce monthly usage limits and improve our features.
3. What We Don’t Collect
We do not access or store customer data, payment info, or personally identifiable information (PII) of your shoppers.
4. Data Retention & Removal
When you uninstall the app, your shop’s access token and associated post history are deleted automatically.
5. GDPR Compliance
We support Shopify’s GDPR webhook system and process customer data requests in accordance with their requirements.
6. Data Security
We protect your data through HTTPS, HMAC validation, and secure API access. However, we do not store encrypted data at rest.
